Retrieved transformed E. coli plates from 37C room at 2:45 pm. Number of colonies per plate listed in table below.

Transfered colonies to 3 ml LB + 100 ug / ml amp using pippette tips and placed on shaker at 200 rmp in the 37C room at 3 pm.
At 3:05 inspected remaining plates again before bleaching and spotted a few additional VR17 colonies on the very edge of the plate. Transfered these colonies to 3 ml LB + 100 ug / ml amp solution and placed on shaker with earlier liquid culture samples.
